MTSS RI has provided training, technical assistance, and coaching to schools and districts in Rhode Island for over a decade. We continue to be the primary resource for all things MTSS in Rhode Island on behalf of the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE). RIDE proudly supports MTSS  Rhode Island and BRIDGE-RI with federal IDEA Part B funds to improve outcomes for all students including those who are differently abled. BRIDGE-RI participates in the RIDE Professional Learning Resources (PLR) and was built in alignment to the Rhode Island Professional Learning Standards (RIPLS). MTSS-RI continuously works towards ensuring alignment of professional learning to RIDE initiatives and best practices. We strive to align the multi-tiered system of supports framework with the work of RIDE, including high quality curriculum, providing supports to all students, including diverse learners and students with disabilities, and educator excellence. MTSS is a foundation of intervention supports to schools in the Office of Students, Community and Academic Supports (OSCAS) through Math Intervention with the American Institutes for Research (AIR), Data-Based Individualization (DBI) through the National Center on Intensive Intervention (NCII) and the School Climate Transformation Grant.

Educator Course Network

In April 2019, RIDE launched the Educator Course Network (ECN), "an online platform that allows users to easily explore and learn more about professional learning opportunities statewide" (RIDE). We are excited to announce that after an application and review process, BRIDGE-RI has been selected as a ECN professional learning provider. Our professional learning offerings align with the newly released Rhode Island Professional Learning Standards, and past professional learning has demonstrated evidence of impact. We hope that you will consider using the ECN to plan your professional learning needs.
